Technical Officer needed in Cambridge

The rate is £18.26ph PAYE

The successful candidate will be an active part of the technical team, working with other members of the team to ensure that the day to day technical operation of the venues is delivered effectively. They will take responsibility for all the technical requirements for the allocated venue(s) during the delivery of events, acting as Duty Technician and Stage Manager and ensuring that the venue operates safely and effectively, in line with all relevant policies and legislation, including licensing, health and safety, and safe-guarding and will carry out maintenance and improvements of equipment, plant and buildings as directed by the Technical Manager

They will ensure proper records are maintained relating to events, health and safety and building maintenance, and that all event reports are completed in a timely manner and will ensure that all financial transactions relating to allocated events, activities, and project are properly recorded, and that all purchases are carried out in accordance with the procurement policies
