Full time hours on a temporary basis
Within our team our primary focus is answering resident enquires relating to service charge estimates and actuals. These questions can vary quite heavily but will be mostly focused around the most recent set of estimates or actuals we’ve provided, this can include the following;
The above is brief outline but it covers the core day to day tasks our team deal with. As far as skills and experience go, I’ve found that an applicant with previous experience of service charges and/or housing services in general does go a long way but with that there is also the need for someone who is happy with a fair amount of customer service as we have a fairly regular rota for tasks involving phones, our inbox and verification of charges. I would also add that proficient numeracy skills with an eye for detail are a necessity given we frequently review residents charges and are expected to be able to identify potentially errors, for example a larger than average increase or a large amount of invoices assigned to a small block.
We use the Microsoft Dynamics platform so we would class this as desirable experience but not essential as training can and will be provided.
Currently we almost exclusively WFH with roughly 2-4 days a month in the office for big team meetings or general office days as and when required, we don’t offer flexibility with these due to the fact that we are so rarely in the office as is. We would expect candidates to be spending their first few weeks in the office for training until we’re happy with their performance.
