Senior Traffic Engineer

Senior Traffic Engineer needed in Bromley, £27.22ph PAYE – Reference: RQ1508530

Engineering team is committed to using creative and innovative measures to resolve the borough’s traffic and parking issues.
The team is responsible for the design, proposal, consultation and implementation of small to large projects which include new pedestrian crossings, traffic signal-controlled junctions, zebra crossings, new footway construction, road safety schemes, controlled parking zones, local parking restrictions and other varied measures to contribute to a safer road network within the borough.

Your responsibilities
1. You will design and manage all aspects of traffic schemes.
2. Produce detailed design construction packages, including drainage design for new footway and carriageway levels for traffic engineering schemes.
3. You will conduct site investigations and respond to queries from councillors, residents, and other major stakeholders.
4. Knowledge of traffic modelling using LinSig is desirable.

You will ideally have a working knowledge of AutoCAD.

This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis.
