School Travel Officer needed in Southampton

The rate is £18.26ph PAYE

The successful candidate will play a key role in the operational provision for the School Travel Service. They will deliver school travel planning and transport operator procurement for the effective delivery of safe, suitable and sustainable school travel arrangements, including continuous route optimisation and issue resolution and incident management, and provide support to junior staff.

They will organise and maintain the school travel database and liaise with internal/external stakeholders such as Children’s Services, Health and Safety, Procurement, schools, colleges, parents/carers, and a range of other agencies.
