Property Lawyer ref 1489347

Key Purpose of Job: To support the Senior Property Lawyer in ensuring that the Client receives cost effective high quality property related legal advice, and in providing an advisory property and regeneration service. To ensure that all such work is carried out to the requirements of relevant clients and to appropriate professional standards. 

Manage a full caseload of commercial and/or residential property matters, including acquisitions, disposals, leases, and regeneration schemes.

Provide expert legal advice on property-related matters to senior officers, elected members, and partner organizations.

Prepare and review complex legal documentation, including contracts, reports, and agreements.

Assist in policy development and risk management related to property law.

Support and guide junior team members while deputizing for the Senior Lawyer – Property when required.

Keep up to date with legal developments, providing training to internal stakeholders as needed.
