Private Sector Housing Officer needed in North London Paying £24.03 per hr Ref 012649

Full time time on a temporary basis

To carry out enforcement functions to meet statutory obligations of environmental protection, including inspection, enforcement, education, and advice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform enforcement functions to ensure compliance with environmental protection standards.

• Provide frontline customer service in a challenging environment, representing Harrow.

• Conduct enforcement activities, spending 25% – 40% of time in the office and 60% – 75% on site visits.

• Work as part of an Enforcement team, adhering to statutory requirements and relevant policies and procedures.

• Act as an authorised officer to educate and collaborate with internal and external organisations to improve public safety and wellbeing.

• Strong understanding of environmental protection standards and enforcement procedures.
