Principal Planning Officer (REMOTE) Full Time Temporary

Principal Planning Officer (REMOTE) needed in Southampton, £35.76ph PAYE – 5259501

Predominantly remote, but may also require some attendance at the office as requested by the Strategic Planning Manager, Director of Transport and Planning or other senior management.
– Flexible working hours supported
– Laptop will be required

Work required to support preparation of the emerging Vision Local Plan included, by not limited to:
– Policy writing
– Evidence commissioning
– Strategic advice
– Policy refinement and options selection
– Preparing briefing notes/papers
– Review of planning legislation/guidance and assessment of compliance
– Undertaking monitoring duties

This is a Full time role on a temporary contract basis
