Full time hours on a temporary basis
Role Purpose
- To provide strategic policy advice and support to the Chief Executive, Corporate Strategic Board, the Leader, Portfolio Holders and the Scrutiny Leadership Group.
- To provide rigour and support to the policy function of the Client and undertake qualitative and quantitative analysis, research, project management, stakeholder engagement and strategy development to support this, ensuring rigorous methodologies are applied to all work.
- To build collective, cross-council policy support for the development of the corporate direction of the authority, engaging with executive and scrutiny councillors, senior managers, partners and external bodies including Government Departments and national and regional policy forums.
