Parks Development Officer needed in Redditch Paying  £16.10 per hr ref 1507520

Full time hours on a temporary basis

Key Responsibilities:

• We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Parks Development Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Liaising and managing relationships with customers, stakeholders, and contractors.
  • Developing service strategies and improvement plans.
  • Managing and maintaining accurate data records.
  • Acting as the lead officer for Stewardship applications and overseeing ongoing contract management.
  • Supporting open space needs assessments through planning, consultation, and review processes.
  • Implementing recommendations from the Leisure and Culture Strategy.
  • Providing feedback to the Planning Team on matters related to landscape, ecology, habitat, and biodiversity.
  • Coordinating and delivering the Green Flag Award programme in collaboration with team colleagues.
  • Leading on the marketing and promotion of services.
  • Enhancing facilities within parks and open spaces to increase public usage and satisfaction.
