Neighbourhood Response Officer needed in Plymouth Paying  £19.75 per hr ref 0009 975B /1

Full time hours on a temporary basis 

We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Neighbourhood Response Officer to join our team. This role is essential for fostering community relations, ensuring neighbourhood safety, and supporting residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and Deliver Neighbourhood Plans: Create and implement neighbourhood plans and local offers.

• Estate Inspections: Conduct regular estate inspections and follow up on fire safety risk assessments.

• Community Engagement: Collaborate with local residents’ groups to develop community facilities, activities, and events.

• Partnerships: Work with local partners, such as safer neighbourhood teams, the voluntary sector, and youth services on neighbourhood safety and anti-social behaviour (ASB) issues. Attend ad hoc or routine meetings as required.

• Interdepartmental Liaison: Coordinate with other departments on neighbourhood improvements and services.

• Tenancy Management: Visit customers in breach of their tenancy or lease agreements as needed.

• Support Services: Assess and support customers who may require ongoing tenancy sustainment.

• Viewings and Sign-ups: Conduct viewings, sign-ups, and tenancy assignments.

• Court Representation: Attend court to represent the organization and/or provide witness statements.

• Evictions: Conduct evictions and attend stay hearings.
