Management Accountant (Hybrid/Remote)

Management Accountant (Hybrid/Remote) needed in Wareham, Dorset, £44,428 per annum PAYE – Reference: 5261794

The candidate will be expected in the Wareham office twice a month as well as any additional days as/when needed. 

Responsibilities will include:

1. Production of monthly management and assisting with annual statutory accounts
2. Preparation of budgets and forecasts
3. Preparation of financial reports and liaison with budget holders and other stakeholders external to finance to discuss and review
4. Maintaining a good level of technical accounting knowledge to ensure that accounts are prepared correctly and in line with the relevant accounting standards.
5. Ensure all reporting deadlines are met without exception
6. Manage workload, delivery and development of assistant management accountants
7. Balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with best practice
8. Journal processing, including ensuring the correct accounting of accruals and prepayments
9. Review of assistant management accounts work to ensure accuracy

This is a full time role on a permanent basis.
