Interim VAT Accountant needed in Northampton

The rate is £22.65ph PAYE

The successful candidate will ensure accounting and related services are provided and that all financial management information is prepared and presented in a timely and accurate manner to all its internal and external customers. The Service is responsible for ensuring that all appropriate financial accounting standards, as laid down either through statute or proper accounting guidance, are adhered to across the Authority.

The Corporate Finance Team delivers the corporate accounting activities covering such areas as VAT, Treasury Management, Asset Accounting, assisting with the monitoring of the capital programme, assisting in the production of the annual accounts and maintaining / monitoring the balance sheet.
