Interim Deputy Mechanical & Electrical Manager (Hybrid)

Interim Deputy Mechanical & Electrical Manager (Hybrid) needed in Westminster, £310 per day PAYE – Reference: RQ1431546

• Provide support across key service areas, including Electrical, Lighting, Lifts, Mechanical, Legionella, Domestic Gas, and Communal Gas services.
• Manage and oversee performance of contractors, ensuring compliance with agreed KPIs and quality standards.
• Lead and manage a team of 20+ staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Attend and contribute to relevant meetings, such as Programme Board and Contractor Core Group meetings.
• Oversee the management of multi-million-pound contracts across both repairs and capital programmes.
• Provide detailed reporting and updates to senior management on service delivery, performance, and improvement areas

You will ideally have – 

• Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering and/or electrical services.
• Membership in a professional institute such as CIBSE, CIOB, or RICS.
• Extensive experience managing contracts and delivering large-scale programmes in social housing or a related environment.
• Proven ability to manage large teams and lead complex projects effectively.
• Strong contract management expertise, including overseeing multi-million-pound contracts.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to report effectively to senior management and stakeholders.

This is a Full time role on a temporary contract basis.
