Housing Options Advisor (Refugees) needed in North London paying £20.49 per hr Ref 1426460

Full time time on a temporary basis

Role Purpose: Provide supervision to caseworkers and manage complex cases, directly assisting Ukrainian refugees and their sponsors under the Homes For Ukraine Scheme. Sustain arrangements at risk of failure, prevent homelessness, and offer comprehensive advice and access to rehousing options, including the new “rematching” of refugees to new sponsors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide weekly supervision to caseworkers and monitor/deal with complex cases.

• Assist Ukrainian refugees and their sponsors to sustain their arrangements and prevent homelessness.

• Offer comprehensive advice on rehousing options, including “rematching” refugees to new sponsors.

• Visit clients in their current homes or other locations.

• Ensure high-quality communication with individuals whose first language is not English.

• Perform data entry tasks for accurate record-keeping and reporting.

• Work closely with teams, services, and external organizations.
