Highway Engineer needed in Bristol Paying  £27.83 per hr ref 526180Full time hours on a temporary basis  

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Highway Engineer with extensive experience supervising highway construction works in the UK. The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience applying DMRB/MCHW Specification for Highway Works and preferably be an NEC4 accredited Site Supervisor or have experience undertaking the NEC4 Site Supervisor contract role. The role will be primarily based on construction sites in and around Bristol.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as Site Supervisor for highway engineering work, ensuring quality of workmanship and materials.
• Ensure compliance with construction drawings and monitor progress against the programme.
• Perform remeasurement of the works.
• Occasionally work out of hours to supervise highway carriageway surfacing works.
• Experience in NEC4 Project Manager administration is desirable.
