Financial Controller needed in Newbury Paying  £76.01 per hr 5257297

Full time hours on a temporary basis  

Key Responsibilities:

To effectively lead and manage the finance team that undertakes preparation and production of the annual financial statements, Whole Accountants, statutory returns, and the Accounts Payable and Receivable functions.

To provide expert advice and support to Finance colleagues, to other managers within the organisation and to elected Members

Interpret, review and present data to give advice on decisions relating to service delivery and procurement issues.

Ensure that financial management systems and operational procedures comply with statutory, corporate guidance and best practice. Responsible for implementing all legislative changes across the service
