Full time time on a temporary basis
Role Purpose: Provide expert legal advice and representation on employment law matters to clients, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide employment law advice and litigation assistance to various entities, including schools and the Children’s Trust.
Undertake all aspects of employment litigation, including advocacy work, drafting responses, settlement agreements, and liaising with the ET, ACAS, and private practice solicitors.
Advise senior officers, members, and committees on all aspects of employment law, policies, and procedures, including discrimination, equality duties, whistleblowing, and TUPE.
Clerk employee appeals and advise on grievance and disciplinary hearings.
Advise HR on policies and procedures.
