Data Engineer needed in Central London Paying  £253.82 per day ref 440643

Full time hours on a temporary basis 

Role Overview: Join the team as a Data Engineer to develop and maintain the data infrastructure. You’ll build data pipelines, improve data quality, and deliver integrations across our business applications, including event management, ticketing, customer service, retail, and hospitality systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build Data Pipelines:

  • Automate data flows into our data warehouse and enterprise graph.

  • Maintain and improve existing ETL scripts in Python.

  • Develop data integrations between line-of-business systems.

• Develop Data Infrastructure:

  • Suggest and implement new tools and frameworks.

  • Provision and maintain cloud services for data storage and processing.

  • Manage costs and energy usage of data activities.

• Deliver Data to Users:

  • Support data optimization and pre-processing in Azure Analysis Services or similar.

  • Assist users in building self-service analyses.

• Technical Solutions:

  • Develop solutions to support audience and business needs.

Experience and Skills:

• • Delivery of custom data pipelines using Python.

  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and version control (git).

• • Domain knowledge of events and ticketing.

  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server / Azure SQL.

  • Knowledge of graph data models, Neo4j, cypher.

  • Familiarity with tabular models in Azure Analysis Services.

  • Understanding of Azure Functions and machine learning tools.
