Data and Information Standards Support Officer needed in Wakefield Paying £16.71 per hr Ref 365262

Full time time on a temporary basis

 Role Purpose: Support the Records Management and functions, ensuring compliance with data protection and relevant standards. Supervise Data and Information Standards Officers and act as a single point of contact for related advice and guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead by example, adhering to the Code of Ethics and promoting values.

• Manage performance, attendance, and wellbeing of staff.

• Embrace and promote Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion (DEI).

• Provide support for Records Management, ensuring compliance with data protection principles.

• Supervise Data and Information Standards Officers, ensuring quality and timeliness.

• Serve as a contact for Record Management and advice and guidance.

• Identify process improvements and training solutions.

• Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date records, including SOPs and privacy impact assessments.

• Conduct enquiries to gather information and data.
