Rough Sleeper Coordinator needed in East London Paying £29.60 per hr Ref OR3675

Full time hrs on a temporary basis

Role Purpose: Make a powerful contribution to the Housing Options and Support Service by leading the Rough Sleeping Team and improving services for vulnerable people who are homeless.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with a dedicated team to ensure support and accommodation pathways are person-centred, accessible, and of high quality.

• Support managers in developing and managing partnerships with key stakeholders and residents.

• Engage with and support commissioned and contract service providers delivering frontline support services and accommodation.

• Ensure accommodation and support pathways address the needs of different groups, particularly those with complex and challenging needs.

• Focus on preventing homelessness and rough sleeping across all services.

• Develop and implement a personalised approach to support for people who are rough sleeping or homeless.

• Collaborate with service providers and commissioners to enhance services and increase the uptake of accommodation offers.

• Support Housing Options Operations Managers in meeting the physical and mental health needs of rough sleepers in the borough.
