Full time time on a temporary basis

Role Purpose: Lead and manage the Criminal Litigation and Regulatory Team, providing expert legal advice and representation in criminal and regulatory matters. Ensure compliance with legal standards and contribute to the strategic direction of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Criminal Litigation and Regulatory Team, offering expert legal advice and representation.

• Manage the performance, attendance, and wellbeing of legal staff.

• Ensure compliance with legal standards and best practices.

• Represent the organization in courts, tribunals, and public inquiries.

• Develop and implement legal strategies to address complex legal issues.

• Provide training and support to legal staff.

• Maintain comprehensive records and documentation.

• Liaise with senior management and stakeholders on legal matters.

Requirements:

• Qualified solicitor or barrister with extensive experience in criminal litigation and regulatory law.
