Housing Officer (Hybrid) needed in Newton Abbot, £17.59ph PAYE – Reference: 5257965

This role is working on a hybrid basis at 3 days a week in the office. 

They will be required to attend various site locally within the Teignbridge District and need to have access to their own Vehicle.

Standard DBS Required is essential however not at point of Interview

Purpose of the Role

Essential – Experience inspecting properties and enforcing housing legislation

To enforce, maintain and improve standards of private sector housing on behalf of the Authority

including identifying and reducing the number of long-term empty properties.

To provide financial assistance through grants and loans and to improve the energy efficiency of

homes in Teignbridge.

This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis
