Highway Maintenance Principle engineer needed in Bradford ref 5253458 £70ph

Full time hours on a temporary basis.

1. Provide management and leadership to one of two Highway Maintenance teams overseeing the feasibility, design, procurement and construction of a range of projects in the allocated parliamentary constituencies in accordance with policies, budget provisions, the Constitution of the financial regulations.
2. To provide expertise to other Principal Engineers, and the Highway Services Manager, as a highway maintenance expert giving recommendations and guidance to the same on the continued application and development of the discipline in addition to ensuring that the client’s legal obligations as Highway Authority under the relevant legislation are fulfilled through the development of client policies, funding bids and programmes of work to maintain the highway asset based upon an evidence based asset management approach.
