Administration Officer needed in Southwark, £16.15ph PAYE – Reference: RQ1292622
You will be required to open and close different adventure playgrounds around Southwark. This can be when we have a booking or a repair that needs to take place. You will need to be able to get to these locations to open the playground and wait for the repair to be done before closing back up.
1. To support the youth and play teams on all site-based facilities management tasks to ensure that facilities used by both staff and service users are safe and in working order.
2. To ensure that buildings are staffed at key times, including school holidays, and support the teams through reception and administrative support.
3. To liaise with CFM on planned inspection and audit programmes, scheduling contractor appointments, facilitating access, supporting in the completion in any identified remedial actions.
4. To respond promptly and confidently to emergency or urgent property management issues as they arise, seeking to resolve them as quickly and as cost effective as possible.
5. Working with your line manager, ensure that the Youth & Play managers are regularly briefed on all operational building compliance, works or repair progress.
6. Support the Youth & Play Service in the provision of high quality and timely administrative support, financial processing and ordering, property-related management and performance data inputting.
7. To liaise and consult with the CFM Service Desk and technical teams order to help facilitate the completion of repairs and remedial works.
8. To ensure that all Health and Safety regulations, statutory legislation and policies are adhered to by the Youth & Play Service through visual checks and required recording, and support contractors while working on or in property.
9. Welcome visitors to our buildings, help keep public spaces welcoming and tidy, and notice boards up to date.
10. To manage and coordinate bookings, deal with enquiries, maintain a schedule of weekly usage (both internal and external partners) and grant access to third party bookings for the various sites.
11. To undertake any other duties commensurate with the grade of the job as may be requested from time to time.
This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis.
