Senior Network Engineer needed in Bracknell Paying £52,204 per annum ref 1279828
Full time hours on a permanent basis
We have been investing in new technologies such as the latest generation of firewalls, Cisco switching and Wi-Fi 6E access points, with SD-Access. We’re installing this ourselves which has allowed time to learn and set it up. There is external training too, if required. Also, the team is very collaborative, with engineers supporting each other as needed. The IT infrastructure is the main pillar of how the Client delivers to our residents. The Network Team look after all aspects of Network Architecture, Strategy, Design, Implementation, and support of the enterprise network environment.
The role is responsible for the third line network support of all IT
The post holder needs in-depth experience in managing ICT networks and networking projects, have sound judgement capability and able to take independent action in relation to problem resolution
This role supports a customer base of 4000
This role also provides technical development and installation function in relation to the IT network environment and will be certified or working towards certification in appropriate IT technologies.
The deployment of dependable network solutions underpins the overall effectiveness and efficiency of all services.
The team is critical to supporting the delivery of the IT and Digital Strategy.
